The Restaurant
Helmed by the talented northern-born chef Tom Barnes – widely regarded as one of the most exciting chefs the UK – Skof promises to bring an unpretentious yet ambitious dining experience to Manchester’s burgeoning food-centric NOMA district.
Roux Scholar and long-term protégé of Simon Rogan, Tom’s dishes are naturally in season, with local ingredients taking centre stage. Working hand in hand with Rogan’s regenerative farm in the Cartmel Valley, Skof will showcase responsibly produced ingredients that are produced by chefs, for chefs. In his new venture, Tom aims to remove some of the seriousness associated with tasting menu restaurants by bringing an element of surprise and joy to his guests.
