Hottest Restaurant Opening of 2024: Vetch, Liverpool
Price of £160pp*
The Restaurant
After winning The Great British Menu in 2021 and Craft Guild of Chefs Restaurant Chef Award in 2022, Daniel McGeorge is now back home in Liverpool, and has opened the doors of his first restaurant. At Vetch, he plans to expand his creativity and share his passion for Japanese and Scandinavian flavours, and love for seasonal local ingredients.
Vetch’s decadent tasting menu includes “Cod, Kohlrabi, Sake & choi sum” – a delicate loin of cod served with a sake beurre blanc, a delightful Ableskiever snack – a Danish cheese puff, here filled with truffle and a pre-dessert of blackberry & liquorice sorbet. All expertly paired with premium wines from both the Old and the New World.
Enjoy an evening of playful fine dining hosted by the famed chef exclusively for American Express Platinum cardmembers.
